"...to view and experience the world as an artist."
My story begins in Mexico City, where I was born. At 8 years old my family moved to San Diego and I was put into school where I had to adapt to a new language and culture. I didn’t speak English well, but quickly learned to express myself through drawing, and was soon recognized as the class artist. This experience taught me to use art as a visual language, and fostered in me the ability to view and experience the world as an artist. Drawing and painting is a way for me to learn and record things in my mind. I became fascinated by drawing different animals, people and places. Now I combine my skills in design and my passion for travel to translate the beauty of the world into art through my perspective.
