This ink and watercolor painting was made as a commission request for Conservation Florida.  They wanted a hand-painted design for their 2024 holiday card, featuring a family of panthers in their natural habitat. They also wanted me to integrate a human family that reflected the panther family, and which was completely unaware of their presence.  

I began with a few sketches in pencil, and then transferred the drawing with ink using a lightbox.  After watercoloring, I then pushed the colors digitally to have a more vibrant and opaque image for printing.
